Build a shed in 10 minutes

My guys wanted to see how fast they could build a shed. We also wanted a video for advertizing use so we set up 2 stationary cameras and 1 handheld to document the feat. The actual building time was 33 minutes. We combined the footage from the three cameras and sped it up to play in 10 minutes. There are no deleted scenes or skipped parts. we show every step of framing a shed. This was done buy only 2 guys with a very little help from a 3rd guy for 2-3 minutes. The guys actually said they could have done better if the nailers hadn’t kept acting up. LOL Anyway, I hope you enjoy and come see us some time.

Great Job!! Did you have someone marking joist and studs centers off camera? Were the floor joist 2×4 or 2×6? What was the floor, wall and roof ply thickness?

xD Ha ha @ 8:52 – 8:56. Watch carefully as he completely misses and looks at the camera like, “Did they see that?” Lmao… But seriously, great job guys. Do you not use any type of cripple or whatever for the roof tresses? They are just held together by the plywood?

No. The floor is straightened before the subflooring is put on. The side walls then have siding hanging below the level of the floor and is nailed into the side of the floor before the wall is nailed down. By nailing the siding and pounding the nails tight, the wall is drawn tightly against the straight floor edge. Then the wall is fastened to the floor from inside the walls

Well the 1/2 we use is always 4-5 ply which helps a lot as well as putting the rafters on 16″ spacing. That shed met NY snow load requirements of 40 pounds per squ ft ground snow load
